PAM Update: Added request access option to delete object operations, added the option to reference and track tickets from external ticketing systems

This update added a request access option to delete object operations added the option to reference tickets from external ticketing systems when requesting access.

We are also very excited to share that Imprivata, the digital identity company for healthcare, this week announced the acquisition of Xton Technologies, an innovative provider of privileged access management (PAM) solutions.

Incorporating Xton’s easy-to-deploy PAM solutions into Imprivata’s existing Identity and Access Management platform extends the company’s digital identity protection deeper into the IT organization by adding access governance for its most privileged users.

Added request access option to delete object operations

The update adds the option for record and folder delete actions to respect Record Control workflows.

The option enabled fine control over delete action for object owners to either block the operation or to require managers to request access to delete operation for peer review, supervisor approval or even just to indicate the reason.

Added the option to reference and track tickets from external ticketing systems

The update adds the option for system owners to request admins to provide reference to ticketing systems when requesting access for cross-audit purposes.

Owners can specify the list of supported ticketing systems using the Workflow Binding form.

In response, the system will prompt users to select the ticketing system (if there is more than one choice) and to enter ticket information when requesting access.

The provided ticket information is displayed on Request, My Workflows and Audit Log reports to track and correlate a ticket from the external ticketing system with privileged action.
